Finished basement. Farmington CT

This is an image of a complete basement remodel we did in Farmington CT. It was originally finished with old barn boards that we removed. The original fireplace was cleaned and we framed, insulated and sheetrocked the new walls. We took advantage of the space under the stairs by creating an area for an audio/video cabinet. The panel behind the speaker is an access door to the area behind the cabinet. This allows for easy access to all the wiring that is involved in hooking up home theater equipment. The drawers store DVDs, literature and too many remote control devices.
